Arsenal could have found their next midfield superstar before the rest of Europe?
The Gunners are reportedly keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Justin Ejodamen, a teenager who has already attracted plenty of attention despite being just 15 years old.
And yes, you read that correctly — 15.
Ejodamen has reportedly been dubbed the “next Jude Bellingham” because of similarities in his style & midfield attributes. That comparison alone is enough to make football fans sit up & take notice.
But is it fair to compare a 15-year-old with one of the best midfielders in world football?
Bellingham’s own journey makes the story even more intriguing. The England international joined Dortmund as a 17-year-old and quickly established himself as one of European football’s brightest young talents before making the move to Real Madrid.
Now, could Dortmund be developing another teenage sensation who follows a similar path?
Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in Ejodamen, but they certainly aren't alone. AC Milan and Juventus are also said to be monitoring the midfielder, while Barcelona are reportedly viewed as the frontrunners for his signature.
Chelsea are also believed to be in the picture.
That makes this a fascinating battle for one of Europe’s most promising young players.
For Arsenal, the attraction is obvious. Mikel Arteta has continued to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level, and securing elite young talent before they become global stars could be another important part of the club’s long-term strategy.
But there’s a bigger question here: does Arsenal really need another young midfielder, or should the priority be finding players ready to make an immediate impact?
And if, Ejodamen really does possess the qualities being attributed to him, how long before Europe's biggest clubs come knocking with serious offers?
At 15, there is obviously a huge amount of development still ahead of him. Comparisons with Bellingham should therefore be treated carefully. The pressure that comes with such a label can be enormous.
Still, Arsenal fans will surely be intrigued.
Could Ejodamen eventually become the next teenage star to explode onto the European football scene?
Or is the “next Bellingham” tag simply too much pressure for a player who is still at the beginning of his journey?
Gunners fans, would you like to see Arsenal sign him? And if you’ve watched Ejodamen play, does he really have what it takes to reach Bellingham’s level?
Drop your thoughts below — is this a future Arsenal superstar in the making?
